The Tribal Elders Council includes members from the Arapaho Language
and Culture Commission and any member of the Arapaho and Shoshone
tribes who is 55 years old or older and interested in the preservation
and revitalization of the Native languages and cultures.The
Wind River Tribal College library/archives will strive to preserve the
culture and history of Indian people through the preservation of
historical manuscripts, personal papers, official reports, photographs,
and video-audio recordings of the historical and contemporary life of
Indian people. These materials will be made accessible for students
attending WRTC.Advice and counsel will be sought from tribal elders on any materials that pertain to religion or spirituality.
